Lindsay Lohan Avoids Arrest, Checks Into Rehab

Actress Lindsay Lohan was supposed to check into Morningside Recovery early Thursday morning.

Her lawyer Mark Heller, who has since been replaced by former lawyer Shawn Holley, told the court that Lohan had already checked in to rehab when in fact the actress was out shopping. According to reports, Lohan pulled up the rehab center but never went in. She was later seen at Fry's Electronics store at 8:45 am.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Lohan was in deep trouble after spending only a few minutes at Morningside Recovery.

"Ms. Lohan is in violation of her probation, that much is clear," Santa Monica City Prosecutor Terry White told the Los Angeles Times.

Lohan was mandated by a court to check into rehab. She caused so much confusion by not checking in that prosecutors were seeking an arrest warrant for the actress. Prosecutors expected Lohan to check into Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, Calif.

She rehired Holley to help her get back into the Betty Ford Center where she went for help before in 2010. While there she got into a physical altercation with a staff member.

Lohan spent her last day before rehab in SoHo in New York City with family and friends. Besides 90-days in rehab she must also spend 18 months in psychotherapy and serve 30 days of community service.

Before leaving Lohan posted a photo on her Insagram of herself packing "270 looks" for her 90-day rehab.
