White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced Tuesday that Rose Montoya and other individuals involved in “inappropriate” behavior during the White House Pride party would be banned in future events.
The White House condemned attendees at Saturday's Pride event who engaged in what was described as "unacceptable" behavior.

US President Joe Biden's press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the behavior by individuals like trans activist Rose Montoya, who posted a video on Twitter of her flashing her breasts at the White House's south lawn, was "simply unacceptable." "It was unfair to the hundreds of attendees who were there to celebrate their families," she said.

Jean-Pierre confirmed Montoya and other people seen engaging in "inappropriate" behavior would not be invited back to the White House. "It's not appropriate. It's disrespectful," she added. "[It] really does not reflect the event that we hosted to celebrate the LGBTQ+ families."

Meanwhile, Montoya was earlier reported defending her actions during the party after receiving backlash from conservatives. "I had zero intention of trying to be vulgar or be profane in any way," she said in a video on Twitter. "I was simply living in joy, living my truth and existing in my body."

Military veterans also criticized the placing of the Pride flag at the center of the display while being flanked by American flags, which was considered a violation of the US Flag Code.
