As of right now, there is only one Original who still has the freedom to walk around - Elijah. Part of that may be because he chose to save Hayley over his sister.
According to TVGuide.com, this decision will definitely affect him going forward.
"There is a guilt [and] shame attached to that," executive producer Julie Plec said according to EOnline. "It definitely drives him hard to rescue his siblings in the next episode and to try to pull the family back together even as it's under assault."
The website also reports, in addition to the vengeful witches, the werewolves will also be a problem for the Originals.
When the show returns next week, we're going to see the backstory between Rebekah and Genevieve, according to the Entertainment Weekly website. Rebekah will be locked in a sanatorium in which she and Rebekah treated an outbreak in 1919, EW.com reports.
According to the website, Genevieve will also threaten to tell Klaus something about Rebekah that Klaus' sister would rather have kept a secret.
If you guys remember, Rebekah mentioned to Marcel that Klaus was afraid of Michael -- Klaus and Rebekah's father. She then looked at Genevieve as if the young, red-headed witch was the key to getting Michael to find Klaus. I'm assuming the secret is that Rebekah and Marcel are behind Michael's attempt on Klaus' life.
In the promo for next week's episode, you can see Elijah's drive to get back Klaus and Rebekah to which Plec referred. As for Rebekah and Klaus, it looks like they're in for some suffering.
