The South Carolina crowd chanted "Lock him up" at Brandon Miller, but that didn't stop him from putting on an amazing performance.

Brandon Miller still played on Wednesday night in South Carolina despite the recent discovery that he supplied the gun used by his ex-teammate in the killing of a woman.

Several news outlets panned Alabama for the decision, and supporters of rival South Carolina's Gamecocks were not silent in their disapproval, either.

An angry South Carolina crowd chanted "Lock Him Up" at the Alabama player.

The controversial Alabama Crimson Tide forward didn't appear phased by the boos and jeers, or if they were, their effect was entirely good. Brandon Miller scored 41 points and helped Alabama to a 78-76 overtime victory, according to Fox News.

New Information Disclosed by Authorities

On Tuesday, Alabama law enforcement testimony revealed fresh information in the capital murder accusations against ex-Alabama Crimson Tide basketball player Darius Miles and 20-year-old Michael "Buzz" Davis for allegedly slaying Jamea Harris near the university's campus in January.

Brandon Miller, a 6'9 freshman star for the Crimson Tide, was reportedly armed before the altercation, as reported by Det. Branden Culpepper.

Culpepper adds that Darius Miles urged Miller to get it low and that Miller complied.

Miles has already confessed that he gave Davis the firearm.

Another player for Alabama, Jaden Bradley, was there as well. It has been reported that Miller's windshield was also shot at during the incident.

Brandon Miller is not facing any charges. Both the prosecution and the defense gave conflicting stories of what happened during the shooting, according to CBS News. Attorney Paula Whitley, the chief deputy district attorney, assured the court that she had enough evidence to press charges against Miles and Davis.

That Alabama crime is by far the most disturbing topic in college basketball this year, whatever the legal repercussions for soon-to-be NBA lottery selection Brandon Miller, according to USA Today.
