Indiana Man Kills Girlfriend, Found Guilty After Body Discovered

Authorities charged an Indiana man for killing his girlfriend after her body was discovered in a shallow grave at his workplace.

The evidence led to his getting indicted for murder when the corpse was dug up in 2021 at his workplace.

Indiana Man Charged with Child Pornography

Patrick Doyle, 40, was convicted for the murder of his 37-year-old girlfriend, said County Sheriff Chris Lane. He added the suspect was held for owning child pornography, but broke under interrogation by police, noted Facebook. He admitted that he killed Heather Steuver, with whom he had a relationship.

Based on the details of the murder case that was started by a report that Steuver's parents posted a missing person reports in late August of 2021. A search for her whereabouts led to finding a shallow grave where Doyle had worked, remarked Sheriff Lane.

An autopsy done by the medical examiner revealed the woman was hit on the head by a blunt object that killed her. Her death was concluded as outright homicide, citing US News.

Along with finding the corpse, a pillowcase was found dumped in the lake nearby with the woman's dentures, T-shirt, sandals, cigarettes, lighter, and sponge, as mentioned by WTHR-TV.

During the progress of the investigation, the authorities came up with facts about the murder of Heather Steuver. One of these conclusions is that the suspect killed the woman on August 22, 2021, at an address at the 5500 block of County Road North 800 E. He buried the corpse after, reported True Crime Daily.

She was staying at her father's house on the second floor on the night of the murder, and they allegedly argued after drinking.

Doyle revealed to the police when he awoke to find her dead, with purple skin and face marks. He lied about how it happened, saying he passed out. Later the sheriff said that the man had done crimes before, like a burglary in Indian and arm burglary in Florida.

Last Friday, February 17, the official stated that the suspect was convicted of murder. Next is the child porn charges will be arraigned on April 25 this year.
