US President Joe Biden has broken his silence on the unidentified flying objects shot down over North America in the previous week, concluding that they were "most likely" operated by private companies or research organizations and not China.

President Joe Biden stated on Thursday that there is no reason to assume that China or any other surveillance operations are connected to the three aerial objects that were shot down after the military brought down the Chinese spy balloon.

The three unidentified flying objects are still being examined by the intelligence committee. The president added during Thursday's press briefing that "although we don't yet know what these three things were, there is currently no evidence that they were connected to China's spy balloon program or that they were foreign surveillance vehicles."

Chinese Spy Balloon Not From China

Over an eight-day period, fighter jets shot down at least four aerial objects, including a Chinese surveillance balloon that crossed the country from Alaska to South Carolina.

"Due of risks to civilian commercial air traffic and because we couldn't rule out the possibility of sensitive facilities being monitored, I gave the order to bring down these three objects," according to Biden.

According to President Joe Biden, the US is working to retrieve fragments of the Chinese balloon. Nevertheless, Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., told reporters on Tuesday that the three additional objects that were shot down over Alaska, Canada's Yukon territory, and in American airspace over Lake Huron are lost.

Despite the recent sightings, President Joe Biden claimed that there is no proof that the number of objects in the sky has suddenly increased.

He stated that he intended to discuss the initial incursion with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Yet after making his statements, he quickly fled the stage when a reporter questioned him about if his family's economic interests interfered with his dealings with China.

Origins, Purposes Remain Mystery

All this week, officials have maintained that they are unsure of the origin or use of their mysterious artifacts. A White House spokeswoman acknowledged that their intentions may have been "commercial" or "benign."

As a result, there is growing concern that the initial balloon stoked fears about China, prompting a trigger-happy reaction once authorities tightened their inspection of the skies. The president stated that he would speak with the leader of China.

He added that he has appointed Jake Sullivan, the national security adviser, to oversee a review of the processes. The system's goal, according to him, was to make it easier to discriminate between objects that represent a risk to safety or security and those that do not.

This week on Capitol Hill, defense officials briefed legislators in a confidential manner. Expert Democrat and House member Jim Himes has said that the United States shouldn't make it its policy to use fighter jets to intercept all high-altitude objects.

A military effort to shoot down a balloon would be extremely costly. According to President Joe Biden, the three objects may have been discovered due to improved radar that was implemented in reaction to the Chinese balloon. In light of persistent speculation that the three objects were developed by aliens, the White House felt compelled to address the matter, prompting Vice President Biden to make the above statements.

Officials stated the slow-moving inexplicable objects posed no imminent threat to anyone on the ground; yet, they were destroyed to protect our security, interests, and aviation safety. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, which was in charge of overseeing the search for the artifacts in Canada, announced on Thursday that it will suspend looking for them in Lake Huron, in part due to the minimal likelihood of recovery.

According to a spokeswoman, China has reaffirmed its rationale for shooting down the balloon on February 4 and urged the US to try to avert misunderstandings and misjudgments. According to military officials, American fighters on Thursday intercepted Russian aircraft traveling close to Alaska.

It was a "regular" interaction with the Russians, according to a statement from the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad), which is jointly managed by the US and Canada.
