Eight-Footer Crocodile Enters Home, Looks for Something To Eat Whiles Family Sleeps

A family in India was alarmed when an eight-footer crocodile entered their home in the middle of the night, which kept them awake until help came in the morning.

An eight-footer crocodile enters a house in Etawah Village, in Uttar Pradesh, India, while looking for its prey. The family was fast asleep when the reptile entered their house.

Hungry Eight-Footer Crocodile Enters Home 

The family of Harnam Singh in Jaitia village in Etawah was reportedly woken up at about 10:30 p.m. on October 29 by the bleating of their goats. When they went out to investigate, they found the eight-foot-long crocodile nearby, reported The Independent.

Soon the crocodile entered one of the rooms, and chaos ensued. The family summoned the cops, who told them to lock and keep the animal inside the house.

The Singhs kept watching over the trapped crocodile inside their home all night. The wildlife department promised to come and start the rescue attempt till just after six o'clock in the morning.

Dr. Ashish Tripathi, a wild animal bureau specialist, recommended that the authorities keep the croc locked within the house.

Family Traps Crocodile Until Morning

The crocodile had to be safely cleared from Mr. Singh's residence, which took the recovery team around an hour. Mr. Singh described the terrifying experience to the local media, noting Yahoo News.

The family head explained that when the goats were loud, they were unaware that an animal had entered. They then noticed the enormous crocodile yowling in terror.

His daughter went to her gran to check the frantic screams heard opening the door to the room. It was when the eight-footer crocodile strutted into the room after it entered the house.

One thing led to another as neighbors were milling around the Singh home. The family and villagers were up until the officials came in that Sunday morning.

He said it was a teen croc looking for food soon after clearing out the huge croc from the terrified family. He added that the croc was about eight feet long and about 1.5-to-2 years old.

Also, the villagers there were right not to mess with or take in the very aggressive reptile.

Crocodile Bites Man's Head But He Luckily Survives

A croc attack in Western Australia nearly got his head torn off! A man survived after nearly dying from getting his head bitten off in WA while he was out crabbing in the Kimberly region, per 9News.

He was out with mates close to the tourist spot the Horizontal Falls at 5 p.m. in the late after, when a really fast croc lurches out of the water after the unaware victim.

One of the companions called Perth radio station 6PR and informed them that another man attacked the beast with a knife to pry the reptile off the man's head.

The caller related how a croc tried to tear off the head of a companion, but quick thinking using a knife had saved the man from sure death. But the victim got away with a few bruises, nothing serious, and is getting well at his residence.

According to Murdoch University crocodile expert Associate Professor David Morgan, they are extremely fortunate. Later, their boss flew them to Broom Hospital. He added that the area attracts a lot of crocs at that time of year, and authorities said they were looking for one.
