Football superstar Gerard Pique and Pop sensation Shakira are allegedly on the edge of breaking up following the reported incident where the Pique was caught with another woman in bed.

According to The Daily Star, reports claim the couple has been living apart for a few weeks after Pique was evicted from the family home by the Colombian singer.

The football athlete is currently living in a bachelor's home in Calle Muntaner in Barcelona and has been enjoying a "party lifestyle" since the separation, according to Spanish publication El Periodico.

Several neighbors in the building have observed Pique arrive and exit during the last week. He's also claimed to have been out enjoying the nightlife in Barcelona with his friend Riqui Puig and his buddies, suggesting the Barcelona defender is partying wild as they get home as late as 2:00 or 3:00 a.m.

Vanished From Social Media

Pique has also vanished from Shakira's social media accounts as per a News18 report. The singer has previously posted images of the couple, but the last time she did so was in March. Shakira sings the words in her latest single, 'Te Felicito' with Rauw Alejandro, while the 35-year-old footballer is staying in Barcelona, which are another clue pointing to a break in Shakira and Pique's relationship.

The lyrics of Shakira's latest song say: "For completing you I broke into pieces; they warned me, but I did not pay attention. I realized that yours is false; it was the drop that overflowed the glass; do not tell me you're sorry, that seems sincere, but I know you well and I know you lie."

"I congratulate you, how well you act, of that, I have no doubt; with your role continues, you look good that show," it reads.

Additionally, Shakira and Pique have both avoided uploading anything to their social media platforms recently, indicating that something might be wrong.

Shakira and Gerard Pique are one of Hollywood's most popular couples. At the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, the singer, known for her singles Hips Don't Lie, She Wolf, and Waka Waka fell in love with the footballer. 

While their 12-year relationship has brought them two children, Milan and Sasha, the couple remains unmarried.
