United States President Joe Biden blasted Donald Trump by calling him "The Great MAGA King" however, Republicans accepted the term while several left-wing candidates were undecided if they wanted the support of The President.

At a reported $30,000-per-head fundraiser for Democrats, Biden bragged about reportedly decreasing the federal deficit by a record amount, criticizing Trump for instead ballooning it, per Fox News.

Biden said that under his "predecessor, the great MAGA king, the deficit increased every single year he was president," Biden noted following calling his critics "ultra-MAGA."

Instead of retaliation, Trump responded by adopting the moniker, tweeting a meme to his Truth Social account portraying himself as a "Lord of the Rings" sword-wielding ruler.

Tool of the Loser

Geraldo Rivera of Fox News' "The Five" remarked that in Ohio, where he lives, the newly-minted Democratic Senate hopeful avoided a question about inviting Biden on the campaign trail, implying that the president has more pressing political problems.

"Tim Ryan, the popular congressman, is now running against [GOP nominee] JD Vance because he doesn't want anything to do with Joe Biden," Rivera claimed, adding that "slander becomes the tool of the loser" when he loses the debate.

Ryan's assistant also turned down an invitation from the anti-Trump Lincoln Project to participate in his campaign.

He believes that Biden is struggling in communicating "that even his nicknames [and] smears are ineffective."

The Primary Season Heat Is On

According to Politico, President Biden flew across the country on Wednesday, escalating his attacks on the Republican Party as the primary season heats up.

With just over six months until the November midterm elections, which are sometimes viewed as a verdict on the president's performance, Biden is gearing up for a full-fledged campaign.

The notable shift in tone comes as the White House tries a new strategy: creating a clear image of the divisions between Democrats and Trump and his supporters in the face of economic woes.

Biden used his favorite phrase lately, "MAGA Republicans," twice calling these legislators "petty," "mean-spirited," and "extreme" at a DNC event later Wednesday, calling his 2020 triumph against Trump a "low bar."

Biden told the audience, "They are cowered by Trump," convincing that Democrats should assert in 2022. "The fact of the matter is, they run the show - the MAGA Republicans. ... It really is beyond the pale."

However, Biden believes that things were worse under Trump. When COVID-19 initially infiltrated the US in early 2020, while Trump was still in office, the US economy lost 22.4 million jobs. Biden emphasized this point to his audience, according to The Independent.

"We inherited an economy on the brink of a Great Depression - millions of people losing their jobs, losing their homes, but even more important, losing hope," Biden told the audience.

On the other hand, Republicans have attacked Biden's economic policies in recent weeks, citing the historic inflation draining Americans' pockets.

Florida Senator Rick Scott bashed Biden, saying that the president "can' stop fueling" the high inflation rate with "more reckless government spending."

"Americans are experiencing 1970s-style inflation again, and it's because of Joe Biden's failed economic policies," Scott said.
