Diddy, Cassie Engaged: Did Diddy Propose to ‘Me & U’ Singer Over Instagram? (SEE RING)

Is Diddy ready to settle down with longtime girlfriend, Cassie Ventura? On Sunday, Feb. 2 the "Me & U" singer posted a photo to her Instagram account of the two posing in front of a car. The singer was holding her left hand in front of her face and sitting on her ring finger was a huge diamond ring.

The day before she posted the photo, Diddy uploaded a photo of a diamond ring with the captain: "Baby do you like it? I just want to get you what you Like! Just wanna Mk you smile J #takeDat.!"

According to TMZ

, Cassie commented on the photo telling Diddy that "It's perfect!" Cassie, 27, and Diddy, 44, have been dating on and off since 2007. According to the Daily Mail, the couple met in 2002 after he heard her song "Me & U" in a nightclub. In 2009, they collaborated on a song called "Must Be Love."

The hip-hop mogul has also been linked to Kim Porter, who he dated one and off from 1994 to 2007, and singer/actress Jennifer Lopez. He has five children with three woman: Justin, Christian, Jessie, D'Lila and Chance.

A rep for Diddy told the Daily Mail that the engagement rumors are not true and the couple will not be getting married anytime soon. Cassie and Diddy rarely talk about their relationship but in October, she told Vibe/Vixen that being around her boyfriend helped motivate her.

"Just being around him is a completely inspiring experience," she said. "Starting my own empire would be great. I'm trying to figure that out. I'm still working with Cassie Enterprises right now but I think that would be something I would love to do."

She also briefly opened up about how she and Diddy's relationship have lasted so long.

"The key to maintaining any relationship - be it romantic or a friendship - is honesty and communication," she said. "I travel so much, host parties and I just signed a new deal with Skram Artist who predominantly DJs in the same bookings that they do at different parties. It's New York, Chicago, Vegas so I'm constantly going."
