TLC Reunites to Perform at Pennsylvania Mixtape Festival

Fans of the baggy jeans and eclectic fashion choices of the 90s, get set to welcome girl-group icon, TLC, to Pennsylvania's Mixtape Festival come this July.

Pull out your eye patches and polish up on your "No Scrubs" choreography; Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozanda 'Chilli' Thomas will team up again after a long hiatus, according to MTV News.

But don't go expecting a replica of the Tupac hologram for fallen hip-hop member, Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes.

"We're trying to work out to see if we can really deal with that. You have to stand next to that person and you know she's not there, and that's really emotional... It's easy for people on the outside to say 'that would be dope' ... but emotionally I don't know," expressed T-Boz.

The music festival, sponsored by VH1, will include fellow bands New Kids on the Block, Hanson, and the Jonas Brothers, as stated by Entertainment Wise. Hip-Hop icons, Rev. Run and DJ Ruckus will also perform.

Live Nation spokesperson, Geoff Gordon, released a statement to MTV News about July's festivities.

"We are so thrilled to bring back the Mixtape Festival to Hershey," Gordon said.

"There's an incredible line-up and tons of interactive and fun activities, all while being set at a world-class amusement park - it's really a pop music lovers dream."

The festival will run over a two-day period at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania from July 26-27.

Long-standing fans of TLC will see a bit more of the "Crazy, Sexy, Cool" bunch with a biopic on the horizon.

Surviving members, T-Boz and Chilli, have cast Drew Sidora and Keke Palmer to play each woman, respectively. Lil Mama has been cast to play the late, Left Eye.

According to the Huffington Post, the film will highlight the group's beginnings in Atlanta and the pop star success after their first album.

"With this cast, we are thrilled with the talent assembled both in front of and behind the cameras," said Jeff Olde, the Executive Vice President of VH1's Original Programming and Production.
