A father with cancer has written his 14-year-old daughter 826 "napkin notes" including inspirational quotes and little bits of wisdom. Garth Callaghan, 44, has been diagnosed with cancer three times in the past two years.
Even though the Virginia native is currently cancer-free, his doctors warned that his chances of surviving the next five years are only 8 percent, People magazine reports. To prepare for the future, Callaghan decided to leave little messages written on napkins and placed in his daughter's lunchbox in hopes of passing on as much fatherly advice as he can, even if he isn't around to offer that advice in person.
