Other fashion designers may use tall-lanky models or mannequins to construct new threads, but Victoria Beckham has a new approach that certainly works for her. The pop star turned fashion icon, designs clothes in the nude.
According to the Scottish Daily Record, Beckham revealed at the Vogue Festival on Sunday, that she discusses new items with her design team and then unclothes.
"I start by sitting down with the team, we're open and we talk, discussing ideas first. I later get naked and make clothes on myself," Beckham said.
The former Spice Girl also spoke on the media's criticism of how she appears on camera, as stated by Contact Music.
"Everyone thinks I'm going to be such a cow," she said. "I get it because I think the same when I see the pictures."
With a growing fashion line, Beckham touched on the realization of her 14-year old son that his mom has a job other than motherhood.
"I'm up early in the morning doing spelling tests and math quizzes before the school run, then up late with a baby and a 14-year-old who refuses to go to bed - Brooklyn," said the juggling mother-of-four.
The Daily Star reports that Victoria Beckham may be gracing the covers of a widely popular, fashion-staple. Beckham's designs may appear on the upcoming issues of Vogue.
With an alleged Vogue cover on the horizon, former "Posh" has shown interest in opening up a store in London, according to Reuters.
"This is where I want to have my first store," Beckham said. "I'd like to do something that is really new, really fresh. Something a little bit conceptual but not too much."
