Amazon is ranked the best in overall customer satisfaction by a customer experience analytics firm ForeSee, for the ninth consecutive year and is celebrating by offering a $30 limited time discount on all Kindle Fire tablets.

Amazon is undoubtedly the biggest online retailer around the world, and its latest accomplishment adds a new feather to the e-commerce giant's praiseful hat. A customer experience analytics firm ForeSee has ranked Amazon the number one in overall customer satisfaction, topping the 100 retailers list. This rave review is not new to but adds value to Amazon's customer-centric ideas. Amazon has received the award for the ninth consecutive year.

Amazon is offering a limited $30 discount on all of its Kindle Fire tablets, which includes all versions of Kindle Fire HDKindle Fire HD 8.9", Kindle Fire HDX, andKindle Fire HDX 8.9" tablets. The limited discount last only till Saturday midnight or while stocks last and customers need to add the code "MAYDAY30" at checkout to avail the credit.

The ForeSee results are based on data collected from more than 67,600 respondents between November 29, 2013, and December 17, 2013. Amazon scored 90 in overall customer satisfaction, which is the highest recorded in Amazon's ninth year winning.  A score above 80 is termed excellent and the company scored ahead of Apple and Publix. This clearly means that the retailer takes customer reviews very seriously and is growing as years pass by.

Around 87 percent of the respondents to the survey said they were happy with Amazon's pricing and content on the website. The survey revealed that 66 percent visitors come to the site with the intention of buying and 27 percent to do research on products.

"Amazon is a perfect example and is truly setting a new bar for an excellent customer experience. To achieve such high customer satisfaction scores and sustain them over time is a remarkable feat that remains unmatched by any other e-retailer," Amazon said in a press release, highlighting the excerpts from the ForeSee data.
