Soluto’s PC Frustration Analytics: Apple’s MacBook Pro 13 Ranked as ‘The Best Performing Windows Laptops’

Apple MacBook Pro 13 has been ranked the number one performing Windows machine in comparison with other PC makers, according to an April 2013 report from Soluto.

According to the latest PC frustration analytics from Soluto, a PC services company, Apple MacBook Pro 13 has ruled out other established PC makers like Acer, Dell and Lenovo, proving that it is the best performing Windows machine, although it is not optimized for Microsoft's software.

The first report of April 2013 from Soluto, giving the top 10 PCs running on Windows, is based on "long term, ongoing analysis of a huge number of PCs, taking into account events such as application crashes, application hangs, blue-screens-of-death, long boot times and excessive number of background processes."

Although Apple machines are not integrated with Windows operating systems, but in a real time comparison of users' experience, it has taken first place in terms of performance. Another Apple machine, the 15-inch Retina display MacBook Pro, acquired the sixth place on the list. However, other PC makers including Acer ranked second with its $429 Aspire E1-571, followed by Dell's XPS13, and Vostro 3560 ranking the third and the fourth place respectively. Other than Apple, Acer and Dell, Lenovo's Thinkpad X1 Carbon worth $1,169 was ranked tenth.

Acer's Aspire V3-771 took the fifth place on the list, while the seventh, eighth and ninth positions were booked by Dell's Inspiron 14z, Latitude E5530 and Vostro 3460 respectively.

Although the MacBook Pro ranks the first place, one must spend an enormous amount of cash on it. As Soluto's report says "if you're looking for top reliability - the data is clear. MacBook Pro is the best Windows PC on the market."

Since Apple products are integrated with Mac, Soluto's report listed a few disadvantages as well with the Windows on MacBook Pro. Firstly, users may need to buy Windows CD, set up BootCamp and install the operating system on the machine. Other than that, the keyboard is not designed for Windows, as it includes alternate keys such as "function-fn" and "command."

The report also noted some driver issues one might experience. However, it was ranked the best Windows operating machine, so there should be more advantages to it.
