Sombra, Overwatch's newest character, is now live on Blizzard's beta test realm, allowing PC players the chance to play the game's newest character prior to the official release.

The quite-lengthy Sombra ARG rumors and speculations ended last week when Blizzard finally unleashed and introduced the new character at BlizzCon 2016 with a very impressive cinematic trailer that wowed everyone.

The trailer was made months after its initial tease during the announcement video for Ana in July.

Blizzard is making sure that Sombra will be perfect

The reason for the character receiving some live action on the beta is huge because Blizzard is keen to stress out that they will only release the character Sombra once they ensured that it is well-balanced and thoroughly tested for any bugs or glitches.

Simply put, they want it to be perfect when it comes out from beta. Because of this, it's pretty much unknown exactly when the character will officially reach the official Overwatch game on consoles outside beta tests.

Players get a chance to play Sombra ahead of its release

Despite that, Blizzard letting Sombra go live on the beta test servers has allowed players to get their first experience playing the character, as well as formulate their own impressions about her.

It was also a great opportunity for the player to take a look at all the available skins which players can choose from. On top of this, Sombra's legendary skins show off her alliance with the Overwatch Crime Organization Los Muertos.

Additionally, you can also take a look at the character's numerous emotes and sprays when you try her out on the beta tests.

Sombra's Abilities

Here is a brief description of Sombra and her abilities:

Stealth and hindering attacks make Sombra a very potent infiltrator. Her hacking abilities are able to disrupt enemies, making sure that they're easier to take down, while her EMP provides an advantage against multiple foes at once. Sombra's ability to teleport and render herself invisible makes her a hard target to pin down.
