Trade rumors on Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins are still not over. It's been months since his name has been all over rumors, with word that he is being traded by Kings to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, and just lately to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Earlier reports revealed that Cousins is not happy with how the Kings' organization run the team and his discontented feeling with the team roster are known to all. These are some of the reason why the Kings are putting Cousins on the trading block. Now, another rumor has emerged involving Cousins and one of his teammates.

According to The Inquisitr, the Kings and the Portland Trail Blazers are looking to strike a deal before the start of the new NBA season. Rumors have it that the Kings will release center DeMarcus Cousins and guard Ben McLemore to the Blazers. In return, the Blazers will send shooting guard C.J. McCollum, center Mason Plumlee, and a 2017 first-round draft pick.

The report also says that both teams will benefit from the said deal if it ever happens. Even though the Kings will lose Cousins, the addition of Plumlee to the frontcourt is still substantial, aside from the fact they will also get an upgrade at the guard position by acquiring McCollum. On the other side, the Blazers will get an All-Star caliber player on Cousins, who can be their go-to-guy. As for McLemore, he can be a backup to Allen Crabbe for the shooting guard position.

However, the trade deal between the two teams will not push through, according to Parent Herald. The trade will be against the salary cap rules due to Cousins' big paycheck, as stated in the report. There are also basketball analysts saying that neither of the two teams will benefit from the trade.

But the reports have stated that Cousins will likely be taken by the Boston Celtics. Celtics general manager Danny Ainge is willing to take a big step to acquire a talented player like Cousins to make the Celtics a contender.

Nevertheless, these are still rumors and no confirmation has come out yet as well. Will DeMarcus Cousins be traded this time around? Or will the Kings stand by their statement that they will not trade Boogie?
