So what makes the newest Spiderman movie special?

The title, "Spiderman: Homecoming", is just fitting because this movie is Spiderman's homecoming to Marvel.

"Spiderman: Homecoming" is now in the backyard of Marvel Studios after a property sharing deal with Sony. The American motion picture studio will now be producing the movie (first five movies were only produced by Sony) so we can expect the friendly neighborhood superhero to be frequently mentioned and shown in other Marvel movies.

In fact, Tom Holland's Spiderman already made his much-awaited debut in the Marvel universe in the movie, "Captain America: Civil War". In all honesty, Holland's portrayal of the famous Marvel superhero was really refreshing and entertaining. This is aside from the fact that he looks quite younger (looks really like a high school student) than the two previous actors who played Spiderman.

Sony Pictures Chairman, Tom Rothman, describes actor Tom Holland as "Fantastic!" Rothman even added that the new Spiderman is the personification of a youth with difficult and not-so-average complications of saving the world while still getting homework done.

A lot of Spidey's villains, who were only mentioned in the comic books but were never featured in the previous Spiderman films, will also make their cinematic debut in the newest Spiderman movie. These not-so-new villains are the Tinkerer (played by Michael Chernus), Shocker (Bookem Woodbine) and Vulture (Michael Keaton).

Other Marvel royalties who will make an appearance in the movie are Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) and Mary Jane Watson (Zendaya).

Spiderman: Homecoming release date is set on July 7, 2017.
