Lamar Odom was spotted drinking with his friends at a bar in Los Angeles on Saturday night, five months after he was found unresponsive at a Nevada brothel and nearly died after consuming a toxic mix of herbal Viagra and cocaine.

A week after his near-fatal overdose, the former NBA player was admitted to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he received treatment for months before being released in January.

Sources at the hospital, who were familiar with Odom's treatment, have again warned the 36-year-old against the consumption of alcohol.

"Lamar needs to focus on staying healthy. He should not be consuming any alcohol," a source said. "In Lamar's case, as someone who only a few months ago had several life threatening health issues, including kidney failure, he needs to live clean. The trauma to his body after the drug overdose was devastating. Alcohol can cause more damage."

After his discharge from the hospital, Odom was moved to a private rehab facility, where he continued to receive therapy on his long road to recovery.

Odom was snapped grabbing drinks at the Johnny O'Brien bar in Sherman Oaks on Saturday, which is a cause for concern considering his history with alcohol addiction.

Hours after hitting the bar, Odom went to church with Khloé Kardashian and her family for Easter service.

Kardashian, who has been by Odom's side during the entire ordeal, posted a cryptic tweet following his night out. "I hate this feeling.... Helpless," she wrote on Monday. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashian's" star is worried about Odom's drinking habits and has sought the help of Scott Disick to convince Odom to check himself into a rehabilitation program.

"Khloe is sad and frustrated over Lamar's drinking and so she is leaning on Scott for help to get Lamar into rehab. Khloe sees this as an emergency situation as she fears Lamar could end up back in the hospital or worse if he does not get help," an insider revealed. "Khloe doesn't understand addiction the way Scott, who has been in and out of several rehabs, does. So Khloe is asking Scott to talk to Lamar to convince him to get the help Lamar needs."
