The Mentalist Season 6: Are The Writers Going to Go the Jane/Fisher Route?; Questions from 'Green Thumb'

Jane is back to pulling the wool over people's eyes and he has the FBI right where he wants them. Here are my questions after the fall finale "Green Thumb":

No. 1-Who's the real Agent Fisher?

While Agent Fisher tried to tell Jane the real her is the hard-nosed FBI agent, Jane differed and explained she is more the woman she claimed to be on the island. So which Agent Fisher is the real one? I'm thinking it's a mix of both.

No. 2-When is Jane going to start decrypting the names?

For Jane's rouse to continue working, he actually has to decrypt the blacked-out names on Bertram's file. Exactly, when does he plan to get on that? Unless Jane is a computer genius he will need someone to decode the encryption for him. Who can he trust?

No. 3-What role is Agent Wiley going to play this season?

The very awkward Agent Wiley made his debut on Sunday, impressing Abbot by locating Jane during his lunch break. While he adds comic relief to the show -which already has quite a bit of comedy with Jane - something tells me he will be quite important in episodes to come.

No. 4-When will the writers go the Jane/Fisher route? if ever?

Watching Fisher ask Lisbon if Lisbon and Jane had ever slept together was pretty funny. When Lisbon wonders why Fisher would ask that, Fisher's flustered response was even more hilarious. Will the writers try out Jane/Fisher?

"The Mentalist" returns January 5 on CBS.
