Kanye West is comparing himself and his "Yeezus" tour to being a police officer and fighting in the war. The 36-year-old rapper did an interview with SatrudayNightOnline.com radio station and told the host, Garrett, that he feels like he's putting his life on the line every time he walks out onto the stage, Radar Online reports.

"Like, I'm just giving of my body on stage, I'm putting my life at risk, literally!" he said.

According to West, the most dangerous part of his tour is the giant mountain he stands on while performing "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Coldest Winter."

"Like that mountain goes really, really high. And if I slipped... You never know. And I think about it. I think about my family and I'm like, wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something," he said.

"Something could happen to you verbally from the press bashing you, something could happen to you from people not liking you anymore cuz your records or you could actually slip on that stage," he continued. "But it's like we walking this tight rope and fighting for creativity, and fighting for ideas, and fighting for thought."

During the interview he also compared his life to "The Hunger Games." Over the weekend the "Black Skinhead" rapper dished on his upcoming album telling fans at the Art Basel Festival in Miami that it's "going to be eight songs.

He said that he and his team are currently in the process of trying to decide what information he wants to include on the album.

"People say a design is the point where you can't take anything else away. (Yeezus') was very, very designed. I took a departure from radio and popular music in order to get this seat here.," he told the crowd. "If I hadn't made Yeezus, I wouldn't be sitting here with this cool front at Basel right here."
