"Mean Girls" star Lindsay Lohan is in the news again after her dad called the cops to her childhood home in suburban New York on Wednesday following a fight between the actress and her mother.
The 26-year-old got into an ugly fight with her 50-year-old mother, Dina, after a hard night of partying over many issues including a $40,000 loan, Dina's excessive drinking, cocaine use, and for meddling in the actress' life and career. The often-rehabbed actress called her dad, who later dialled the Nassau County cops from Florida and officers arrived at the spot around 8 a.m.
An audio of the conversation between Lindsay and her dad Michael Lohan has been obtained by TMZ in which the actress was heard yelling:
""Dad, she's on cocaine. She's like touching her neck, and s**t." TMZ website reported that the fight began as Lindsay demanded Dina to pay back $40,000 that she had given to her to save her home from foreclosure. As the fight began turning ugly, Lohan told her dad, ""She's saying disgusting things to me ... I'm dead to her now."
This is just another bizarre day for the ex-Disney star-turned-public spectacle after a short break from controversies.
Two weeks ago, Lindsay was involved in a New York City police investigation after she accused a congressional aide at the W Union Square hotel of assaulting her. The charges were later dropped.
In mid-September, Lohan was arrested after a hit-and-run incident where she was accused of bumping a pedestrian with her Porsche while attempting to park. The actress is also on parole for stealing a necklace in California.
