Hurricane Isaac struck Louisiana in 2012 devastating families all over the state. One squirrel subsequently named Jill suffered a similar fate, being thrown from her nest. She was a baby at the time and was taken in by her current owner who promptly toilet trained her – she uses a garbage can for a tiolet! Although she was has her own comfy cage – Jill usually has free reign of her owner's house, reported Bored Panda.

Jill has now gotten quite famous because of her adorable Instagram account, @this_girl_is_a_squirrel. "3-year-old Hurricane Isaac rescue. Vegetarian, parkour expert whose only fear is the vacuum. But, she loves every Starbucks napkin she meets," reads the squirrel's description on Instagram.

Jill grew up in her new home, seeing as she was rescued at only four weeks. She's now three, and living it up. Watch the amazing video compiled by The Dodo that highlights the fuzzy little animal's antics.

The photos on her Instagram are simply too cute, and they make us see the squirrels in a whole new way. It's really not a good idea to pick up squirrels or try to domesticate them, but it looks like it worked out for Jill who is living the good life. We're glad it worked out!
