Lorelai and Rory will reunite with their first loves in the "Gilmore Girls" revival. Netflix announced on Twitter that Jared Padalecki and David Sutcliffe will reprise their roles as Dean and Christopher, respectively.

The casting news confirms the return of all the (significant) men who passed through the lives of the Gilmore women. Milo Ventimiglia and Matt Czuchry, who played Rory's (Alexis Bledel) ex-boyfriends Jess and Logan, have also signed on for the revival.

"Supernatural" star Padalecki last appeared on "Gilmore Girls" during season five, warning Luke (Scott Patterson) not to get too involved with Lorelai (Lauren Graham). His prediction of trouble came true when Lorelai ended up back with her baby daddy Christopher (Sutcliffe) in season seven.

The "Gilmore Girls" revival will consist of four 90-minute episodes penned and directed by creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband and writer/producer partner Daniel Palladino. The show will pick up in the present day.

Netflix has not confirmed a premiere date for the "Gilmore Girls," which is currently in production, except for 2016.
