On tonight's episode of VH1's "Love and Hip Hop: New York," Amina Buddafly is struggling with making the right decision about her relationship with her husband Peter Gunz after she found out he is still sleeping with his ex, cast member Tara Wallace. Buddafly, who is pregnant again with her second child from Gunz, reached out to her stepdaughter Whitney for advice.

Buddafly explains that Whitney is an adult, and that she considers her more of a friend than a stepdaughter. The two have developed a great relationship, and Buddafly turns to Whitney to help her figure out what to do now that she knows about Gunz's ongoing affair with Wallace.

"My dad has a good heart but when it comes to women, my dad has a problem and that has affected me," Whitney, 24, tells her stepmother. "And watching him and the way he treats my mom or the way he treats women around me - like he would say to me, 'I don't want you with somebody like me' - but do you want that for Cori? Do you want her to see her dad come home sometimes?"

Buddafly shares 1-year-old daughter Cori with Gunz, and faces the tough decision on whether to leave her husband or stay with him. But she says, ultimately, her decision will be made on what's best for her and her young daughter.

"Despite everything Peter has put me through, I love him," Buddafly says in her on-camera interview. "But I know that loving him is hurting me and Whitney's right, it's also hurting Cori and that's a lot to bear as a mother. I never want my child to suffer for my mistakes, so I'm trying to pick up the pieces and make the right decision moving forward."
