In Monday’s episode of “Hostages” the Jake (Mateus Ward) and Morgan (Quinn Shephard) were left in in escape-plan limbo, Ellen (Toni Collette) had (and still has) no idea what to do next, and Brian (Tate Donovan) took a bullet to the stomach.
It’s safe to say things aren’t going well for the Sanders family. However, according to TVLine.com, there they may turn the tables pretty soon.
The website reports one of the four kidnappers won’t be on team Duncan (Dylan McDermott) by the end of the episode.
TVLine also reports fans will learn a secret hidden in Ellen’s past.
It’s good that Hostages is beginning to move along and more revealing more secrets after what seemed to be a slow-moving start for the show's plot.
For example, last episode we found out that Duncan’s kidnapping plan has something to do with his wife Gina (Gemma Forbes). Judging from the conversation he had with Kramer (Rhys Coiro), it seems their success on this assignment could mean a turn for the better wth Nina’s illness.
It will be interesting to learn whatever secret Ellen is hiding. We already learned at least one secret from everyone else in the family Jake was selling weed. Morgan is pregnant. Brian was having an affair.
So what do you think Ellen’s secret is? Also, which one of Duncan’s team members won’t be a part of his group when the next episode is done? Comment and let me know your opinion.
According to the promo, which can be seen on CBS.com, next week’s episode will feature Ellen in the trunk of a car, Sandrine (Sandrine Renault) taking a shot to the face and an attempt to bring someone back to life. You can catch the preview here.
“Hostages” airs Mondays at 10/9c on CBS.
