The Seattle Seahawks visit the Arizona Cardinals for NFL Thursday Night Football. Kickoff is at 8:25 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE.
Seattle moved to a 5-1 record on Sunday with a 20-13 win against Tennessee and its staunch defense. As expected, Seattle's defense has played well and rank second in the NFL with 290.2 yards allowed per game, according to ESPN. Seattle's offense, however, has been inconsistent.
"It's nice to learn while you are winning and I think that's where we are," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said, via ESPN. "That's what we're hoping to continue.
"I don't know if we'll be able to reach the levels that we saw late last year where we were scoring points at a huge rate (while winning the final five regular-season games). That was an enormous run that we had. But that's good to expect that and I'd like to see that too."
Seattle's next challenge is a 3-3 Cardinals team that is 2-0 at home. While the Seahawks are familiar with their opponent, Carroll admitted it's not the same team with first-year coach Bruce Arians now at the helm.
"They're a brand new team to us," Carroll told the Seahawks website, according to ESPN. "There are things that look similar, but it's not the same. All kinds of stuff has changed, so we have to look at them all over again."
Arizona is looking to bounce back after a 32-20 loss to San Francisco on Sunday. Despite the Cardinals' defense keeping the game close for most of the game, the 49ers were able to score 10 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to win the game.
"It was tough, man," Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington said. "Once you get your back to the wall, you have to toughen it out. I thought we lost our energy that fourth quarter to end the game. We didn't play like we did the first three quarters and the game got away from us."
