It takes a lot of guts to get an interview with a celebrity. It takes a lot more to get an interview with a celebrity who is known for spilling a lot of guts. However, that's exactly what Entertainment Weekly did when it somehow landed an interview with the notorious mass-murdering possessed doll Chucky from the upcoming film "Curse of Chucky."
The fourth installment in the "Child's Play" franchise is now available on DVD/Blu-Ray and VOD just in time to put some scares into you and your friends before Halloween. EW has managed to lock down the busy redheaded killer for an interview that finally lets fans behind the monster and answers some of the questions that everyone has been clamoring for. For example, who would win in a fight, Chucky or Annabelle from "The Conjuring?"
"I got nothing but love for Annabelle. She's a good kid, but she'd better watch out for Tiffany. That's all I'm saying. Girlfriend is jealous," Chucky said in the interview. Tiffany is his longtime girlfriend and bride from the previous films played by Jennifer Tilly. Chucky later describes Tilly as the best person he's shared the screen with.
"That voice is such a turn on," he said.
Meanwhile, the murdering doll had nothing but bad things to say about "Bride of Chucky" star Katherine Heigl saying that "everyone hates her" and that "Heigl" is his favorite curse word. While the insults seem harsh, it's a drop of water in the bucket for a doll that's responsible for the death of more than 50 people.
The interview was not without some substance though. In fact, Chucky gave some tips for people who might want to dress as him for Halloween this year.
"Dye your hair red, put on some blue overalls and cut off your legs at the knees."
