Miley Cyrus is removing every reminder of ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth from her Los Angeles home. Shortly after their split was confirmed a moving truck was spotted outside the mansion but Hemsworth reportedly left some of his clothes behind.

Instead of waiting to see if the "Hunger Games" actor was going to pick up the rest of his belongings Cyrus had her assistant donate all of his clothes, the Daily Mail reports.

The "We Can't Stop" singer reportedly took the clothes to the West Hollywood branch of Out of the Closet thrift store.

"Miley wanted everything gone, so she sent Liam's clothes to a local charity store that benefits people with HIV and AIDS," a source said.

Among the clothes were two cashmere sweaters, Nike workout gear, a James Perse sweatshirt, black Hugo Boss dress pants and some underwear.

"I hope that Liam doesn't need any of that stuff because Miley never asked him if he wanted it before it got packed up," the source said. "Although she said she wanted to break up with him a long time ago, she is really hurt and heartbroken, which is understandable. She wants every remnant of him out of her life."

In public Cyrus has been putting on a brave face saying that she is handling the split well. She told Matt Lauer on the "Today" show that she was the "happiest I've ever been in my whole life."

"My plan is focusing on right now... I don't worry about anything because I know who I am and I know I'm an artist," she told Lauer

While appearing on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" Cyrus also said she was doing fine and was choosing not to focus on the split.

"I really believe that when a chapter's done you have to close it and start that new one, and that's kind of where I am right now," she said. "I have so much to be thankful for that my energy hasn't really been focused on that."

"I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been - and that's not even a dig - I'm just really genuinely happy with myself and I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are."

She did reveal that her new album, "Bangerz," tells the story of the end of their relationship but didn't realize it until she got the chance to listen to it in its entirety.
