Chris Brown slammed a resurfaced rumor that claimed the 26-year-old singer is battling an addiction to "sizzurp," Gossip Cop reported. TMZ recently reported that Brown was spotted drinking the cocktail made of codeine cough syrup and soda while out on a pumpkin-picking trip with his daughter Royalty Riesling, and he dispelled the rumors in a series of tweets.

"Tmz is about to run a bogus story tomorrow becuz they aren't getting any traffic," Brown tweeted. "They called my publicist about some bulls--t a-- story. It's just sad. Now I'm letting y'all know it's bulls--t!"

Brown visited a pumpkin patch in Los Angeles with his 1-year-old daughter and friends, TMZ reported. He posed for a photo with five friends sitting on a bale of hay, which was posted on his Instagram account and TMZ claimed that the double-stacked coffee cups sitting on the ground at Brown's feet was filled with the addictive cocktail. The report also claimed that his friends and family are "worried" that Brown's alleged addiction could lead to him losing custody of Royalty.

But the singer isn't letting the rumors get him down. After he discredited the rumor, he went on to promote his upcoming project.

"I got a great album coming, having a great time being a father, and also staying out the way!" he continued on Twitter. "Ima grown man and I live my life on my terms."
