Wednesday night's episode of "Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition" brought out the remaining three contestants' true colors as they deveined shrimp, learned to multitask and finally figured out the one culinary secret - that bacon really does make everything better.

With "Jersey Shore's" Jenni "Jwoww" Farley, former "Saturday Night Live" comedian Ellen Cleghorne, and reality star Kendra Wilkinson all competing to be the best worst cook, it was hilarious to see as these three worked alone in the kitchen without any help from their mentors Anne Burrell and Rachael Ray for the first time ever.

It all started with some simple Mexican food, as these three improving chefs learned to make chips, guacamole and salsa all from scratch. It boggled all of their minds that chips didn't always come straight from a bag, and this far into the competition, Cleghorne still shocked everyone when she asked what a tomato was.

Cleghorne and Wilkinson really struggled with their chips, but did impress the judges by thinking outside of the box with their salsa and guacamole. Wilkinson added crab to her guacamole, while Cleghorne went for a bizarre approach of adding cheese and watermelon to her salsa. In the end, Jwoww's thought to add bacon to her guacamole to spice it up a little really won the judges over, and she was declared the winner of the first challenge.

The main challenge was all about multitasking and time management, which are two things Cleghorne and Wilkinson have really struggled with from the beginning.

Their challenge was to make a plate of tapas, which included bacon wrapped dates, shrimp and gestapo, in just 45 minutes. In the end, the three all did a decent job, but once again, Jwoww produced the best dish, advancing her to the finale. Wilkinson ended up having a hard time deveining her shrimp because she just couldn't get past the idea of pulling the "poop" out, while Cleghorne still couldn't balance her seasoning, sending them both to the blind elimination challenge.

For the blind elimination challenge, the two had three minutes to devein and peel as many shrimp as possible, and Wilkinson was terrified as this was the one thing she just couldn't get right. But, her motivation to win helped her get over the gross factor and really just go for it. Cleghorne, on the other hand, seemed confident in her ability to clean shrimp, even though she's allergic to shellfish.

The two both produced six perfectly clean shrimp, but Cleghorne went about it in a way that she completely cut her shrimp in half - or "butterflied" them - so Burrell and Ray had no choice but to fairly crown Wilkinson the winner, sending her to the finale.

"I'm in the finals because I took out shrimp poop," Wilkinson said in disbelief, while Cleghorne vowed to never cook again.

"I will never enter another kitchen again for as long as I live," she told the judges. "I'm going to have the stove ripped out of my house."

"I think I'm ready to go," Cleghorne told The Food Network during her exit interview. "I'm ready to learn more. I'm happy that Kendra and Jenni are staying to represent the respective teams, and I just had a really good time. I really had a good time."

As someone who really thought outside the box throughout the entire competition, producing some of the strangest combinations of foods, she admitted that she did learn a few things about herself.

"I tapped into the fact that I really need to be more willing to follow rules, but that I truly am creative, and I don't follow rules by nature," she said. "Following rules is something that, you know, I really have to work on in certain regards, in certain aspects, but that I'm really creative."

In the end, she's rooting for both Jwoww and Wilkinson to bring home the $50,000 for their charity of choice.

"I did have fun working with Jenni and Kendra at the end," she continued to say. "We were the women....you know, the more guys that we got rid of, and it was just us, I had such a good time. I'm so glad I had an opportunity to meet them and, you know, play around in the kitchen."

See who wins it all when the finale airs next Wednesday, Oct. 28 on the Food Network!
