Rev Run's daughter Vanessa Simmons is expecting her first child with boyfriend Mike Wayans. The "Daddy's Girls" star told Essence magazine that she was definitely nervous to tell her hip-hop legend father that she was expecting.

"There's this whole idea of first comes the marriage then comes the baby carriage so I was so nervous," she said. "But my dad was actually really excited because this is the first grandchild for my family."

"I think somewhere deep inside he was kinda like, 'When am I going to experience that part of life?' Of course he wants us to get married, but for now he was like, 'We're gonna figure this out. Just be happy and have a healthy pregnancy. I'm behind you a hundred percent,'" she said.

Simmons said her father's blessing "meant the world" to her and she was happy with his reaction. The reality star said she has been laying low for the past three months because of sever sickness and her pregnancy cravings have already kicked in.

The 30-year-old said her favorite thing right now is cherry Slurpees from 7-Eleven.

"Everything I see I want," she said. "Every time my mom calls me she asks, 'Where's Mike?' and I'm like, 'He's at 7-eleven.'"

The couple, who began dating eight years ago, do plan on walking down the aisle but no time soon.

"Of course we talk about that and it's looking good," Simmons said. "But I don't want to be a pregnant bride. I wanna have a beautiful wedding, hopefully a destination wedding where I can show off my figure in a beautiful long flowing dress."

As far as a baby name? It looks like Simmons and Wayans are not even close to picking a name for the little girl. She told Essence that for the first three months she and Wayans thought they were having a boy so had picked out some boy names.

Last week she revealed that it was a girl by posting a Instagram picture of the sonogram.

"I'm stumped thinking of little girl names. But I'm excited because little girl clothes are amazing and I'm the girliest girl ever."
