With Britney Spears announcing that she won't be a part of next season's "X-Factor", singer Demi Lovato says she'd love to see Lady Gaga fill Spears' shoes on the show.
After two seasons of "X-Factor", Spears announced she won't be returning for the third season.
She's not the only one.
Fellow judge L.A. Reed , who has been on the show for two seasons, announced that he too will not be returning for the next season. Simon Cowell, who is the producer and judge on the show is the only original judge who has confirmed being in the next season. Lovato, who hadn't been offered the role of a judge in the next season yet, said she'd love to return to the show if she's asked.
"I'm focusing on my music this year, so it's going to be a lot of touring, a lot of promoting of my album, but I would love to," she told "Extra". "Obviously, if they asked for me to come back, I'd say yes."
Commenting on Spears' departure from the show, Lovato also revealed that she'd love to see Lady Gaga fill in for Spears.
"I would love to see Lady Gaga," she said. "I don't know if that is possible or not."
Lovato is currently tending a broken leg, thanks to her roommate.
"I slipped and fell in my living room and, God bless my roommate, but she's not used to cleaning and so she actually "Pledged" the floors," the singer said. "Needless to say, that didn't go very well."
The singer didn't let this accident dampen her mood and moments after her injured leg was plastered, she returned to the studio to shoot for her new single, "Heart Attack."
The young pop star told "Extra" she was glad she returned for the shoot even with her plastered leg as it was one of the most fun shoots she had ever done.
