Keira Knightley's Sexy Chanel Ad Banned from Airing During Children's Programs (VIDEO)

Keira Knightley's Sexy Chanel advertisement came under fire from the Advertising Standards Authority after it appeared during the airing of the cartoon "Ice Age 2."

While Knightley's sexy Coco Mademoiselle commercial by Chanel has succeeded in mesmerizing her fans, the Advertising Standards Authority wasn't too pleased when the commercial appeared during the airing of "Ice Age 2." The ASA has demanded the commercial be banned from airing during the telecast of any children's programs, reports Us Weekly.

The ad shows a sexy Knightly being photographed on a bed, with the photographer unzipping her clothes. The actress is then shown wrapped in only a bed sheet and crawls towards the photographer.

While Chanel argues that a sense of sexuality is common in all perfume ads and "while there was a sexual frisson, it was more akin to flirtation....", there was no nudity in the ad.

"We noted that the photographer was directly involved in unzipping the actress's garments and that there was a suggestion that she was naked aside from a bed sheet. We also noted that there was clear sexual tension between the pair and that they appeared about to kiss on the bed," ASA shot back. "We noted that 'Ice Age 2' was of particular appeal to children. We considered the ad was suitable for older children, but that the sexually suggestive material was unsuitable for young children.

"We therefore concluded that the ad was inappropriately scheduled and an ex-kids restriction should have been applied to prevent the ad from being broadcast in or around children's programming."
