Hugh Hefner's son Cooper is engaged! The 23-year-old asked Vampire Diaries" actress Scarlett Byrne to marry him, and she said yes! The couple shared the exciting news on Cooper's Instagram along with the caption, "To many more adventures with this lovely lady."

Hef's son flew to Byrne's native England and asked her father for permission to marry his daughter, Us Weekly reported. After he popped the question, Heffner, his 24-year-old future bride and her family celebrated the happy news together.  

Cooper's famous dad tweeted the happy couple congrats on Thursday, writing, "Sending love and congratulations to my son Cooper and his fiancée Scarlett on their engagement!"

Byrne also posted the news of her engagement on her Instagram. The picture showed the couple all cuddled up with her gorgeous yellow and diamond ring clearly visible. "I was lucky enough to fall in love with my best friend," she wrote.

The couple had been dating for newly two years before Hefner got on his knee and asked Byrne to be his wife, according to E! News.
