Jewish arsonists carried out an attack that killed an 18-month-old baby and injured his whole family. Two houses were firebombed by the attackers and the Hebrew word for "revenge" was written on one of the houses next to a Star of David, according to BBC.

Witnesses said the Jewish settlers threw firebombs towards the houses at around 2 a.m. local time. Officials identified the corpse of the baby as Ali Saad Dawabasha. The parents Sa'ad and Riham, and his four-year-old brother Ahmad, are all seriously injured. Four other unidentified relatives are also badly wounded and were moved from a hospital in Nablus to another one in Israel, according to the New York Times.

Brigader-General Moti Almoz of the Israeli Defense Force told the Jerusalem Post that he can "not remember an incident this severe in recent years." A Palestinian youth was taken and burnt alive almost the same time last year.

According to the Jerusalem Post, Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "This is a terror attack. Israel deals harshly with terrorism, no matter who the perpetrators are," The Independent added.

Israel was responsible to this incident according to President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine. Nail Abu Rdainah stated to WAFA, a Palestinian news agency, that, "Such a crime would not have occurred if the Israeli government did not insist on pursuing settlements and protecting settlers," according to Reuters.

Luba Samri, Israeli Police spokeswoman, said that this is most likely an attack by the group "Price Tag." It is a group of militant settlers who declare threats against government institutions that will halt the expansion of settlements in the West Bank. They have burnt mosques all around West Bank, but managed not to kill anyone. Under the international law, these Israeli settlements are against the law.
