Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez and his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins, had an argument several months ago that resulted in him putting his fist through a window and her calling the cops.  It's not his first domestic incident, either, TMZ reports.

The incident occurred a "few months back" at the couple's rented home in Hermosa Beach, Calif.  Hernandez and several friends began partying around 4 p.m. and continued well into the next morning.  When Jenkins tried to end the party, Hernandez started arguing with her.  The dispute became heated, and Hernandez punched his fist through a window.

Glass shattered and sliced the 23-year-old's hand, and blood spilled everywhere.

Jenkins allegedly called the police in a final attempt to break the party up.  It's uncertain if Hernandez's child was in the home during the altercation.

The incident wasn't the first time police had been called to the Hermosa Beach residence.  TMZ reports law enforcement sources as saying cops visited the house multiple times, apparently for noise violation complaints, which Hernandez had "no regard" for.

His Hermosa Beach neighbors described him as a "nightmare."

TMZ also reported another domestic incident from a year ago between Hernandez and Jenkins.  A Hermosa Beach neighbor called police to report "fighting" inside Hernandez's home.

Police arrived, and Jenkins said she was OK.  She chose not to press charges.

A law enforcement source said Hernandez "acted like an a**hole" once police arrived.

Hernandez is currently being held without bail as he awaits trial on one murder charger and five gun-related charges.  Bristol County Jail authorities moved Hernandez on Monday to "solitary confinement" for the star's own safety.
