Britney Spears has been the subject of severe criticism and rumors for years, and now, she is about to release her memoir, The Woman in Me. In it, she tackles head-on the claim that she had a past affair with choreographer Wade Robson during her relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

The news has generated a lot of buzz as readers and the media await the book's October 24 publication.

Affair With Wade Robson

One of the most popular and widely discussed celebrity couples of the early 2000s was Spears and Timberlake. After three years of dating, the pair broke up in 2002. Their apparently ideal relationship was shattered when news spread that Spears had been seeing Australian choreographer Robson.

Timberlake's Cry Me A River, which was released shortly after the separation, has lyrics that hint at infidelity in a romantic relationship. Many people believed that the song was about their romance and that Spears had cheated on him.

The pop singer finally addresses the years of accusations surrounding her alleged cheating on Robson in an upcoming memoir. Spears reportedly said in her book that she and Robson had a passionate kiss on a night out, as reported by The US Sun. "We were out one night, and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night."

Spears said in her biography that she had remained devoted to Timberlake during their whole relationship, with one exception. Her confession begs the issue of how complicated their relationship was and what caused it to lead to her brief infidelity.

According to Hola, the public anticipates that Spear's autobiography will provide more light on her love affair with Robson. He choreographed several of the pop singer's most memorable performances, including those in her groundbreaking music videos for Oops!...I Did It Again, and I'm a Slave 4 U, as well as her Live from Vegas concert special in the early 2000s. Back then, Spears praised him, calling him a "genius" and an amazing choreographer.

No TV Appearances

Per a TMZ report, Spears has decided against participating in a television press tour to promote her new book. The singer will not be appearing in any sit-down interviews with media outlets, even if it can increase book sales.

Despite widespread speculation to the contrary, she will not be appearing on CBS 60 Minutes, having an exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey, or any of the other programs to which she has been linked.

Spears recently discussed her highly awaited book in an interview with People Magazine, though TMZ sources said she only responded to the magazine's questions via email.

Those close to her also realize that returning to the interview circuit and being subjected to intrusive personal inquiries would create a can of worms. Notably, excerpts from her memoir have already exposed a lot about her history, including that she claims her ex-boyfriend Timberlake got her pregnant when they were 19 and urged her to undergo an abortion.
