With many hardware improvements, Xiaomi is planning to launch the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2. The features of the smartphone have been leaked online and it is suggested that the Xiaomi's Redmi Pro 2 is better than its predecessor in many ways.

Xiaomi is planning to launch the successor of Redmi Pro which is named Xiaomi's Redmi Pro 2 soon. According to reports from BGR, it has been confirmed that there will be a significant improvement in the hardware component of the upcoming smartphone. Xiaomi's Redmi Pro 2 will flaunt an LCD display from TCL. The Redmi Pro has an OLED display and now with advancement, Xiaomi's Redmi Pro 2 will have a full HD resolution.

Xiaomi's Redmi Pro 2 will be run by Snapdragon 660 process and will have 3GB RAM. It is expected that there will be no change in the dual-camera operation which will be placed at the back of the smartphone. The report further states that a combination of a 5 MP Samsung S5K4E8 and 12 MP Sony IMX362 main sensor will be present on the back of the phone while the front camera will flaunt 16 MP Samsung S5K3P8 sensor.

Other features which will be present in Xiaomi's Redmi Pro 2 includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other sensors like Gyroscope and Accelerometer. Rumors are also making the rounds that Xiaomi's Redmi Pro 2 will have two variants, that is, a 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 128 internal storage. The smartphone will be powered by 4,050 mAh battery.

Notably, the features of the predecessor of Xiaomi's Redmi Pro 2 included a 5.5 inch HD OLED display. Three variants of the smartphone were available: 3GB Ram with 32 GB storage and Media Tek Helio X20 deco-core SoC, 3GB Ram with 64 GB storage and Helio X25 deca-core processor and 4Gb RAM with 128GB storage and Helio X25 deca-core. It was a leading Xiaomi smartphone to flaunt dual-camera setup with 13-MP and 5-MP camera in the back with a front facing camera of 5MP.
