As fans know, "War for the Planet of the Apes" follows "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" that released in 2014. The sequel revolves around Caesar, who is determined to take revenge from the humans as they have destroyed his army. The ape leader comes to terms with his darker instincts and the battle intensifies between the humans and the apes.

In the meantime, actor Andy Serkis, who essays Caesar in "War for the Planet of the Apes" has said that writer duo Matt Reeves and Mark Bomback have done an excellent job in the film, Slash Film has learned. Praising the duo, he said that they have written an amazing arc for the film and the two have enhanced the stakes, not just in terms of emotions but scale as well.
