The Chicago Bears' 2016 NFL season is not good at this moment. And now, rumors are spreading that they might trade their wide receiver Alshon Jeffery to the Philadelphia Eagles in hope that they could turn their fortunes around.

Holding a 1-6 record, they are currently tied with San Francisco 49ers in the last place at the NFC division. And from the looks of it, they might not also advance to the playoffs if they will not make a big shake up on their roster. And releasing Jeffery might be the answer to their misery.

According to NJ.com, with only five days left before the NFL Trade deadline (November 1), rumors are saying that the Eagles are starting to inquire the availability of Jeffery to Bears. The one-time Pro Bowler have the skills that the Eagles might take in for consideration.

As of this moment, Jeffery has registered 284 catches gaining 4,248 yards and 10 touchdowns being on the Bears roster from 2012 as per stated in the report. And this could be what the Eagles need to solidify their offensive line and strengthen their lineup as the season go along.

With Eagles' top receiver Jordan Matthews not 100% healthy due to knee tendinitis and backup WR Nelson Agholor is also struggling, the arrival of Jeffery could make an immediate impact on the offense of the team.

And with rookie QB Carson Wentz doing a great job on executing the play, it might good to see playing him alongside Jeffery and help him run the offense. It should take note that Jeffery will be a free agent after the season and the Bears might trade him to get something in return rather than losing him for nothing.

On the separate report by CBS Local, the Eagles are considering to deal a mid-round pick to the Bears for Jeffery and set-up a "long-term deal" to him. Many say that the Eagles might give up their 2017 third-round pick for Jeffery.
