The Cleveland Browns continue to struggle after Week 7 of the current NFL season. Their 31-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday is their seven straight defeat (0-7), leaving them as the only team that have not won a game this season.

The injury suffered by Browns QB Cody Kessler during that game also doesn't help the cause to the team. Kessler was taken out after suffering a concussion and still doubtful if he can comeback on their next game. And now, the Browns are making a move to trade away OT Joe Thomas after their misfortunes.

According to Rams Wire, with almost a week before the Nov. 1 NFL trade deadline, the Browns are looking to deal away Thomas to the Los Angeles Rams. The Browns are expecting to have a second-round draft pick in return for the 31-year-old Thomas if ever the deal pushes through.

The report also revealed that many teams have shown interest to the nine-time Pro Bowler which includes the New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots. But it looks like the Rams are serious to acquire Thomas.

The Rams badly need help on their offensive line and Thomas could immediately give the needed support in that area. A bye week coming up could also give Thomas ample time to study Rams offense and jell with the team if ever he'll be traded.

On the separate report by Bleacher Report, the only one thing that will prevent the trade of Thomas is his salary. Thomas has a $8.3 million salary this season and $8.8 million on the next two season making it hard for the Rams and other teams to absorb it if ever.

It would help if the Browns will bring back Thomas' salary in order to proceed with the deal. However, Thomas already express his intention to stay with the Browns and asked not to be traded by the team.
