The Cleveland Browns is a mess at the start of the 2016 NFL season. They haven't won a single game after Week 7 after suffering a 31-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday. It didn't also help the team having players on the injured list.

Earlier in the season, they lost starting QB Robert Griffin III due to shoulder that could be career ending for him. Just a week after backup QB Josh McCown also injured his shoulder taking him out in the lineup. And just last Sunday, Cody Kessler had a concussion during the second quarter of the Bengals game.

With all this happening, the Browns are deemed not to enter playoffs and could likely be in a rebuilding mode after the season. That's why rumors are spreading that the team is placing some of the players on the trading block to prepare for their future. And that includes CB Joe Haden.

According to The Inquisitr, the Browns is considering to trade Haden and it looks like the Green Bay Packers might steal him from them. Earlier reports have mentioned that aside from the Packers, the Atlanta Hawks, Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders and Carolina Panthers showed interest to acquire the services of Haden but many believe the Packers is the best fit for Haden.

Though the Packers are one of the top contenders in NFC, they must fix first their defense in able to compete with other teams as per stated in the report. Although their defense is not that awful, they still need to improve in that department as the season go along. Haden could be their answer and his arrival will strengthen their defense.

In a separate report by Sportsrageous, now that Packer's starting CB Sam Shield career is in danger after suffering a concussion this could be a perfect timing for Haden to enter. Although the Packers have CB backups in Damarious Randall and Quinten Rolins, the player like Haden is in high level compared to those two.

Haden could immediately fill in the spot of Shield if ever he'll not be back and bring in his experience to somehow calm down their defense. Although Haden also has a nagging groin injury, he might the best option for the Packers as of this moment.

Will the Green Bay Packers strike a deal with the Cleveland Browns to acquire Joe Haden?
