Rumors that surround the filming and production of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" were finally put to rest with the released of the first trailer of the film.

However, the trailer showed no trace of Captain Jack Sparrow.

This prompted the fans to speculate that the character of Jack Sparrow will finally be shelved and replaced by Will Turner played by Orlando Bloom.

Disney released the first trailer of the latest instalment of "Pirates of The Caribbean" and fans were surprised and curious on Jack Sparrow's absence. The trailer shows the antagonist looking for Jack who is not even there.

According to slashfilm.com, this is the first sneak peak of Caribbean's 5 and it will lead the viewers on what the movie is all about. So would the plot focus on a different storyline without Jack Sparrow or a thrilling plot that still includes Johnny Depp's feat and struggle for survival?

In this fifth instalment, Orlando Bloom, as per iTechPost will also make his return as he was not present in the previous film.

In this film, Jack Sparrow will find himself fighting a deadly pirate named Captain Salazar who vows to kill every pirate on the sea including Jack Sparrow.

To defeat this antagonist, he will seek the help of Will Turner and together they shall look for the Triden of Poseidon, an artifact that could give limitless power to anyone who gets and possesses it and finally rule the sea. Sad to say, this is the only thing that could probably save Jack Sparrow from this struggle.

So fans should not be upset us Johnny Depp will still appear as Captain Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of The Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales."

'Pirates of the Carribean Dead Men Tell No Tales' is directed by Joachim Ronning and will hit cinemas on May 26, 2017.
