When Android smartphones are updated to Android 7.0 Nougat, new features in-terms of performance, productivity and security will revitalize the smartphone.

According to  PC Advisor, Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, and General Mobile 4G (Android One) will get an update to Android 7.0 Nougat.

LG V20, which already beat Google Pixel and Pixel XL in terms of OS from the box, will directly arrive from the packaging powered by Android 7.0 Nougat.

Google's new upcoming smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL will also be powered by the Android 7.0 Nougat mobile OS. The Pixel C is obviously part of the list because it's a Google product.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Note 7, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus, S7, S7 Edge, HTC 10, and HTC One M9 will receive Android 7.0 Nougat update.

The unfortunate make of Samsung, Galaxy Note 7, and Motorola's Moto Z and Moto G4 are also getting the official Nougat build sometime in the fourth quarter.

Sony confirmed that its recent Xperia devices will get Nougat, also includes Z3+, Z4 Tablet, Z5 series and X series. Also it is reported that the Z2 and Z3 series will not receive Android 7.0 Nougat.

HTC also confirms by quoting that the HTC One A9, HTC One M9 and HTC 10 can receive and any other devices enrolled in the Android Beta Program are believed to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat.

Performance - Google has introduced the new Vulkan 3D graphics API, with lower CPU overhead than OpenGL. Also introduces with the JTI Compiler, speeding app installation by 75 percent and 50 percent reduction in compiled code size.

Productivity - Google has introduced Direct Reply feature, which allows you to directly reply to messages, emails and more from the notification bar, multi-tasking improvements - Clear all button to the top of recent open apps, new emojis, multi-window view -split screen and picture in picture, Virtual Reality mode with Daydream, Custom Quick Settings, Data Saver, Notification Controls, and Display Size management tools, battery saver upon screen turnoff.

Security - Google introduces three security features like the file-based encryption, media framework hardening and seamless updates.
