Google is already rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat, its latest Operating System.

Unfortunately, if your smartphone is not Nexus, you may have to wait a little longer.

This is because Google usually rolls out first the standard version of Android to its very own smartphone brand, Nexus.

Meanwhile, Samsung, Sony, Huawei, Motorola and other smartphone brands are creating their own tweaks in Android 7.0 Nougat before they release it to users.

Are you looking for the Android 7.0 Nougat roll-out schedule for Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Moto Z, Moto Z Force, and Moto Z Play?

Android 7.0 Nougat's thrilling new features includes Quick Switch (swap to the previous app using the multi-tasking button), Multi-window (can be used to access two apps in the same screen simultaneously) and VR support/ Daydream (for more immersive VR experience).

Additional notable features include new emojis, enhanced file browser, screen zoom, clear all, instant apps, push notifications, direct reply notifications, data saver, additional power competence, enhanced Java 8 language support, Google Assistant and smooth updates.

Droid Life got a confirmation direct from Motorola that users can anticipate the arrival of Android 7.0 Nougat on the Moto G4 and Moto Z Family starting in Q4 of 2016.

This means that Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Moto Z, Moto Z Force, and Moto Z Play will get Android 7.0 Nougat.

This is good news as it definitely means that Moto users can expect an update to the latest Android OS before 2016 ends.

However, Motorola did not specify any Android 7.0 Nougat update for Moto G lines and Moto X Pure Edition.

The company only informed Droid Life that they are aware that upgrades take time to ensure preciseness. Motorola will share Android 7.0 Nougat update plans for other products in the future, so keep tuned.
