iPad Mini fans are now waiting for the release date of iPad Mini 5. But up to this moment, Apple remains silent on the matter.

Despite the release of the previous iPad Mini versions in October and November, speculations disclosed that the new iPad Mini 5 would come up in March 2017. Its predecessor iPad Pro was released last March 31.

According to a report from Macworld, at Apple's March 2016 event, the company announced its new iPhone SE 9.7 in iPad Air Pro, iOS 9.3 and new Apple Watch straps. If the release trends will be followed, iPad Mini 5 or iPad Pro Mini will likely be issued in March 2017.

When iPad Mini 4 was then released in September 2015, its price range were £319 for the new 16GB Wi-Fi model, £399 for 64GB, and £479 for 128GB.

This will likely means that there is a possibility that iPad Mini 5 will fall at the same price range. However, this might increase the base price form of £319 to £349 instead.

As reported by Marie Brewis from PCadvisor, the 7.9-inch screen with its smaller keyboard is too small for productivity. Because of this, Apple will keep the 'Pro' suffix for the 9.7 inch and 12.9-inch models or else a new 10.5 inch iPad will be released in 2017.

When talking about features, there are four new features for this iPad 5 that fans should wait for. It has an improved 3D Touch similar to that of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus with IP68 protection for water and dust shields.

Also, this will come with the new Apple Pencil slightly featuring the Apple's posh new stylus. Its operating system will be iOS 10, which has already came with the new version of Apple's iPad and iPhone operating system for the iPhone 7  and iPhone 7 Plus.
