In a massive blow to the West Indies ahead of the semifinal, middle-order batsman Andre Fletcher was ruled out of the World Cup due to a hamstring injury. Lendl Simmons will replace him in the squad for Thursday's game against India. Super10 Group 2 leader West Indies suffered an embarrassing defeat against ICC associate nation Afghanistan on Sunday. The Afghans first made 124 in twenty overs and then restricted the Darren Sammy-led side to 118 in twenty overs.

Indian team management also called up Manish Pandey as cover for injured Yuvraj Singh. Singh, who injured his ankle during a must-win game against Australia on Sunday, is likely to miss the remaining World T20 matches. "I don't know whether we should make changes but it is possible, depending on the wicket. We have to see Yuvraj's injury as well. We would definitely like to have a replacement ready if the physio says his injury is bad," Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said after six-wicket win over Australia on Sunday.

The Probable Squads:

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, Pawan Negi, Ashish Nehra, Hardik Pandya, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and Manish Pandey.
