England Women will take on Pakistan Women in a Group B match of the Women's T20 World Cup 2016 Sunday at MA Chidamabaram Cricket Stadium in Chennai.

England Women are holding the top position in Group B with six points from three matches. Pakistan, on the other hand, placed at the third position behind the West Indies.

England Women have won all three Group B matches and acquired a top position in the group. They are now aiming to seal a place in the semi-finals when they take on Pakistan women at Chennai.

"If we play well we should win but they have played well in the tournament. You have got to take the game in isolation because Dharamsala was a completely different wicket to what we are going to face here. There are things we can take from the collapses but ultimately we have won two games," England skipper Charlotte Edwards said ahead of Sunday's match.

"We are not going to dissect the games and think 'we should have done this, we should have done that'. We won the games and have shown a lot of bottle."

The Sana-Mir led Pakistani ladies, who began their WT20 campaign with a narrow loss against the West Indies, came back strongly with two back-to-back wins against India and Bangladesh. They need to win Sunday's match against England to stay in hunt for the semi-finals. If they beat England and the West Indies beat India in another Group B match on Sunday, then the net run rate will decide which two teams will seal semi-final berths from the group.
