New Zealand Women will take on South Africa Women in a Group A match of the Women's T20 World Cup 2016 Saturday at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.

New Zealand Women are holding the top position in Group A with six points from three matches. South Africa women, on the other hand, need to win their two remaining league matches against New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

The "White Ferns" have already been qualified for semi-finals from their group. Now, they are hoping to enter into semi-final with an unbeaten record.

"In the last ICC World T20 (2014), we exited in the group stage after losing to South Africa, so we know how big a game this is," New Zealand skipper Suzie Bates said.

The Proteas ladies, who began their WT20 campaign with a six-wicket loss to Australia women, registered a remarkable 67-run victory over Ireland women on Tuesday. South Africa first made 157 in 20 overs and then restricted Ireland to 89 for nine in 20 overs. Leg spinner Sune Luus' (five wickets for eight runs) extraordinary performance helped South Africa to register a massive 67-run victory over struggling Ireland.

"We want to be positive. A lot has happened after then and we haven't played them ever since. We know it is not just going to happen again when we just get on to the pitch. It is going to take a lot of hard work. But we've done the preparation and we know what we are capable of. The biggest thing is going to be to focus on ourselves and executing our game plans and not worrying too much about the opposition," South African women skipper Mignon du Preez said ahead of their must-win encounter against Kiwis.
